Current incentive programs
Program funding, eligibility, approved equipment, income limits, installation timing, and application deadlines vary. Confirm eligibility directly with the program before authorizing work.
EV charging rebate
Currently available. Standard applicants may qualify for up to 50% of the purchase price of eligible charging equipment. Income-qualified customers may qualify for up to $2,000 for an eligible EV charger installation or up to $5,000 when an eligible panel upgrade is also required.
PG&E electric customers, including eligible CCA customers. One rebate per household; approved equipment and other rules apply.
Home EV charger rebate
Currently available. AMP residential customers may receive up to $200 for an eligible permanently installed Level 2 charger; income-qualified customers may receive up to $500.
The AMP rebate applies to the charging station cost, not installation labor. Receipts and invoices generally must be dated within six months of application.
Panel and building electrification rebates
Currently available. AMP offers rebates for qualifying electrification projects, including eligible main-service panel upgrades tied to replacement of gas appliances with electric equipment.
A panel upgrade alone may not qualify. Final permits, itemized contractor invoices, photographs, and fuel-switching requirements may apply.
BayREN multifamily rebates
Funding reported available for 2026. BayREN’s multifamily program offers incentives for eligible electrification and energy-efficiency work, including electrical panel upgrades. Incentive amounts vary by measure and property.
Property enrollment and project approval may be required before installation. Availability is subject to remaining funds.
Fast Charge California
Opportunity-based funding. CALeVIP’s Fast Charge California project supports ready-to-build, publicly accessible DC fast-charging projects, with priority for disadvantaged, low-income, and tribal areas.
This is not a universal residential rebate. Site eligibility, readiness requirements, approved equipment, and funding availability apply.
Clean Electricity Investment Credit
Potentially available. The federal Section 48E credit generally starts at 6% and may increase to 30% when labor requirements are met, with possible bonus amounts for qualifying domestic content, energy-community, or low-income projects.
Major 2025 law changes added timing and sourcing restrictions for solar. Commercial owners should obtain project-specific tax and legal advice before relying on a credit.
Residential Clean Energy Credit
Not available for new 2026 expenditures. The federal residential solar and battery credit ended for expenditures made after December 31, 2025.
Customers with qualifying 2025 expenditures should consult a tax professional regarding Form 5695 and documentation requirements.
Alternative Fuel Refueling Property Credit
Ended for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. New residential and commercial EV-charger installations completed after that date are not eligible for the federal Section 30C credit under current law.
Earlier installations also had location and other eligibility requirements. Consult a tax professional before filing a claim.

Promotion terms and important disclosures
Terra Volt promotion: Available for new qualifying contracts signed with Terra Volt Electric from the promotion launch date through September 30, 2026. The $1,500 solar discount applies to qualifying solar installation contracts with a pre-discount contract price greater than $10,000. The 5% discounts apply to qualifying residential EV charger installation services and qualifying residential main-panel upgrade services. Unless stated otherwise in the written proposal, discounts apply to Terra Volt Electric’s eligible installation charges and exclude permits, utility fees, engineering, trenching, equipment purchased directly by the customer, change orders, financing charges, taxes, and third-party work. One Terra Volt promotional discount per project; not redeemable for cash; cannot be applied retroactively; and may not be combined with another Terra Volt promotion unless expressly stated in writing. Project acceptance is subject to site conditions, service area, scheduling, equipment availability, permitting, utility approval, and a signed contract.
